Career Breakers (also under 30)
We tend to define career breakers as people in between jobs, or quitting their jobs to go travel. Nothing screams adventure like sticking it to the man, saving up some travel money and going out and having real adventures. There are different ways you can experience taking a career break abroad. Some people like to actually continue to keep the cash rolling in but just change where they work.
Working in Australia for example. Others like to get new qualifications to actually change their lives. Becoming dive masters or dive instructors, surf instructors of fitness trainers we have loads of different options if you want to make a life of it abroad. Again talk to us about your individual circumstances and we will see what is best fitting for you.
30 Plus
A common misconception about Gap Year World is that we are a company just for people of gap year age. So for the record, you don’t have to be in your early 20s or late teens to take a gap year. We have travellers in their 50s, 40s, 30s as well. It might be that we recommend different trip options for you, but we certainly have amazing adventures if you are in the 30+ age category.
Popular options tend to be more longer term experiences like professional dive qualifications, or overland truck tours in Africa but everyone is different and we can make sure we match you up to something amazing.
