Are you allowed to drink alcohol on the Contiki tour bus?
Quote from StephJ2024 on November 10, 2024, 10:34 pmThe "official" answer is NO, and I think it is illegal, however, in the end it is up to your driver. The driver is legally responsible for his bus and everyone on it.
Our driver allowed it (hell, he sold it to us for EUR1/beer, and he even let us chug bottles of wine while dancing in the aisles to LOUD (dance-club loud) music that he pumped through the speakers as he sped down the highway on the way to our hotel at night.)
But not all drivers allow that (our TM said he's worked with some pretty strict drivers), so you should go in EXPECTING that it will not be allowed.

It has a lot to do with the Driver, but in actuality I believe Contiki stance is a firm "No" on this issue, as it is illegal.
I spent most of the time on the bus catching some sleep or getting to know people, generally the first two days you will get into lots of "get to know each other" conversations with people.

Quote from kyliebrisbane on November 13, 2024, 9:29 pmI've done a few Contikis and in one word "NO"! Its for your safety and the safety of the others around you. Besides why do you feel the need to drink on the bus?? Seriously use it for sleep.
