How do camps pay??

I'm hoping to be a camp counsellor next summer but I don't have a US bank account how do we get paid?

When I worked at my camp we got paid in cash every two weeks, it was literally handed to us in an envelope. This was a few years ago now and I'm not sure if this has changed though.
