Cheapest countries to go backpacking

In your opinion, could you tell me what you would consider cheap countries to visit, spending money wise?

In Europe: Bulgaria and Makedonia.
Globally:
Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh(?), Indonesia - but upcoming hikes in NP entry fees!, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan(but high visa fees to these last 2), Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Bolivia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Georgia, Malta
Kind of relative to how far (and how much it costs) you need to travel compared to how long you plan to spend there. For me coming from the UK somewhere like Poland (cheap Ryanair flights) may be cheapest for a week, but for 3 months somewhere like India is going to be way cheaper.
Then again there is no point going somewhere that is cheap if you don't have an interest in that place.
My recommendations are:
Indonesia (except perhaps Bali, but particularly Sumatra which is v cheap)
Laos
Thailand
Guatemala
Nicaragua
El Salvador (not as many attractions as the other CA countries but the people are charming)
Ethiopia (except for internal flights which can push prices up)
Sri Lanka (although prices are rising)
