Claiming back tax/super for Australian Working Holiday Visa employment
Quote from saz on January 11, 2025, 8:29 pmHi there,
I am looking for some reliable information in regards to claiming back tax/super from employment during my working holiday visa.
1. How much am I able to claim back?
2. Am I able to do this whilst still in Australia but no longer working?
3. Is it better to do this with by myself, or should I use a company?
4. Is there any independent sources of information I can check?
I would really appreciate any response from people who have experience with this.
Thanks

If you are from a country that is not allowed to work in Australia again you can get it back as soon as you leave Australia - not sure what currency or how they transfer it; but if you are from NZ you cannot get it back at all, but under some circumstances can get it transferred to your kiwisaver account.
