Has anyone volunteered with GVI? Worth the price?

I'm just checking if anyone has volunteered with a company called GVI?

They do conservation and community projects, a couple of which look appealing to me for next year.

A few other companies offer similar projects so it's a bit difficult to know what is best and where to apply especially as the cost is high.

Has anyone reading this ever done a project with GVI? What did you do? Would you recommend it? Is it worth the price?

I just had a look at their website and the prices are insane, £2000-£5000ish for a week or longer :O

Surely you can find something much cheaper or even free if it is volunteering?

We don't recommend volunteering abroad with GVI. For better options view our volunteer programs.

On our website (One World 365) we promote hundreds of local and international volunteering organisations and to be honest we wouldn't advise booking with GVI. Browse our volunteer abroad directory for better programs/companies.
