Is it better to learn Italian or Spanish?

I'm from Australia, native language is English, also speak moderate French and was wanting to learn another language, trying to decide between Italian and Spanish...what would you guys suggest?

Definitely spanish! Quite a lot of countries speak it so if you plan on traveling alot then you will get more use out of it!

Spanish... Italian is very similar to it. I know a bit of Spanish and I find it easier to learn.

Spanish, no doubt about it.. it´s considered to be second most spoken language in world. I am Brazilian and of course I speak Portuguese. And as u can read I also speak English. And I´ve just started learning Spanish . But in my opinion as a latin language speaker I must say that Italian and Spanish are just a bit similar, the grammar and vocabulary are completely different. In fact, Italian is harder than Spanish and the Italian language is not world wide used as Spanish is..so I think I´ve said too much..I hope I helped you in some way
