Is it better to learn Italian or Spanish?

Spanish, no doubt about it.. it´s considered to be second most spoken language in world. I am Brazilian and of course I speak Portuguese. And as u can read I also speak English. And I´ve just started learning Spanish . But in my opinion as a latin language speaker I must say that Italian and Spanish are just a bit similar, the grammar and vocabulary are completely different. In fact, Italian is harder than Spanish and the Italian language is not world wide used as Spanish is..so I think I´ve said too much..I hope I helped you in some way
