Should I accept a placement or wait?
My application has been circulating for about 3 days, and a camp from Wisconsin has asked to talked to me further about working there. The camp looks amazing, but should I commit to anything just in case another camp contacts me which is better???
My advice is - if you like the camp - take it - if you wait too long they may hire someone else instead and you will be left wondering what happened to 'that offer'. They won't wait for ever.
You never know what the economic situation will be like in the run up to summer too, if bad a lot of USA camps will hire less staff so every placement offer should be treated like gold.
Consider it a testament to your application standard.
Yeah accept as you could run the risk of not being placed and then not getting to go.
