Thailand/Cambodia travelling for 2 months budget + tips
Hello,
Me and my friend (we're both from the UK) will be travelling to Thailand/Cambodia next year to backpack for 2 months. We are looking to do one month in each country. How much money would you recommend we need to save? We are aiming for £2000 (per person, and excluding flights) and would like to do activities such as elephant sanctuaries, snorkelling, full moon party, etc.
We are more than happy to stay in hostels, and don't plan to eat in fancy restaurants. We're also happy to travel around by bus, whatever is cheapest. Will that be enough do you think? I've done some research already on £, and spoken to a few people who have said that will be plenty, but you can never be too prepared 🙂
We are first time travellers (very excited) so any tips, recommendations, important items we should pack/bring with us, would be greatly appreciated 🙂
