Tips for beating jet lag?
Quote from CatherineOz on November 15, 2024, 12:48 pmHey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice for dealing with jet lag? I'll be flying from Australia to London and don't want to crash when I get there!
Thanks.

Quote from mattyb on November 19, 2024, 11:16 amI think personally I don't feel affected by jetlag as much. I tend to fly overnight and catch a little bit of sleep on the plane (and I mean *little* bit). By the time I land I'm excited and pumped with adrenaline, I can't wait to hit the town.
Try to convince your body to run on London time. You'd be surprised what a little perseverance can do.

Quote from jamie on November 20, 2024, 9:52 amThe best trick really (which has been mentioned) is to not sleep until it is around your normal bed time no matter how tired you are. this will adjust your inner clock almost seamlessly. so if you arrive at 2pm local time, don't go to sleep until around 10pm local time, no matter what your home time is.
Also, take an eye mask because I can't sleep on planes easily. being able to sleep on the plane helps a lot.
