What are the nationalities of Contiki tours

hey guys..i am planning on doing contiki tour...wondering whether there are different nationalities in a particular tour..is everyone generally quit open to people from different backgrounds/cultures?..for me personally, its an excellent chance to get to know people from all over the world...would be great to know about others' experiences..

Hey there,

I've been very fortunate on my tours and had a great mix of people!

My tour to the USA had people from Australia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, Canada, Japan, Denmark, Brazil (Go Team Brazil!!), UK (England and Wales) It was a really great group - lots of different nationalities and languages being spoken. We all made an effort and were all very tolerant and curious about each others backgrounds.

We were a very open group. There was one guy on tour that only spoke very basic English! I don't think that stopped him having a great time - loads of smiles and fun times with him 🙂 We are all very much still in touch.

On my tour to Europe, it wasn't quite as diverse. It was mainly people from the USA, Canada and Australia. With a few South Africans, Mexicans and people from Singapore.

The groups vary so much! But people who generally travel, you will find have an open mind and are interested in emerging themselves in different cultures.

My last tour was diverse and we had a fair bit. I think at least 15 people were from Canada, 16 of which were from the Toronto area. 4 from the US, one girl from South Korea, about 15 from Australia. Then there were some people from New Zealand, UK, South Africa and two from Brazil and one from Germany.
