WWOOFing abroad as an American visa advice
Quote from Miss_Peregrine on January 27, 2025, 11:25 pmHi,
I'm a little confused about working and WWOOFing abroad as a citizen of the US.
Is it correct that if I want to work or instead do a work exchange(such as WWOOFing) I can only do it in Ireland, Singapore, south Korea, Australia and new Zealand and only with a work visa?
What if I wanted to just say WWOOF within a 90 day limit, would a tourist visa allow that anywhere in the world? I'm asking because I'm hoping to figure out a way to fund a gap year. I was also looking at just working online and selling my photos.
Thanks!

A working holiday visa is a good bet for under 30s but those are reciprocal agreements between countries and the US does not tend to reciprocate so you will have limited choice.
