How to Help
If you are passionate about sharks and keen to do your bit to help there are lots of ways to get involved from donating to good causes, to actually travelling overseas and joining research and conservation expeditions. No previous experience is usually needed for most general voluntary positions, unless you are seeking internships or paid work.
Projects are usually a lot of fun, where you’ll learn a lot from experienced staff, meet like-minded other volunteers from around the world and also get to to do activities in your free time.
Usually you will get to live in spectacular locations in exotic destinations close to the ocean and if you have never been diving before you will usually be offered the chance to take your PADI Open Water Diver Course or your next level of certification (PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course or PADI Rescue Diver Course).
